ऐसी दिवाली मनाते हैं पूज्य बापूजी

संत हृदय तो भाई संत हृदय ही होता है। उसे जानने के लिए हमें भी अपनी वृत्ति को संत-वृत्ति बनाना होता है। आज इस कलयुग में अपनत्व से गरीबों के दुःखों को, कष्टों को समझकर अगर कोई चल रहे हैं तो उनमें परम पूज्य संत श्री आसाराम जी बापू सबसे अग्रणी स्थान पर हैं। पूज्य बापू जी दिवाली के दिनों में घूम-घूम कर जाते हैं उन आदिवासियों के पास, उन गरीब, बेसहारा, निराश्रितों के पास जिनके पास रहने को मकान नहीं, पहनने को वस्त्र नहीं, खाने को रोटी नहीं ! कैसे मना सकते हैं ऐसे लोग दिवाली? लेकिन पूज्य बापू द्वारा आयोजन होता है विशाल भंडारों का, जिसमें ऐसे सभी लोगों को इकट्ठा कर मिठाइयाँ, फल, वस्त्र, बर्तन, दक्षिणा, अन्न आदि का वितरण होता है। साथ-ही-साथ पूज्य बापू उन्हें सुनाते हैं गीता-भागवत-रामायण-उपनिषद का संदेश तथा भारतीय संस्कृति की गरिमा तो वे अपने दुःखों को भूल प्रभुमय हो हरिकीर्तन में नाचने लगते हैं और दीपावली के पावन पर्व पर अपना उल्लास कायम रखते हैं।

84 लाख योनियों के बाद मनुष्य जन्म मिलता है, बड़ा दुर्लभ है। दुर्लभ होते हुए भी क्षणभंगुर है। कब कहां किस निमित्त मृत्यु हो जाए पता नहीं,उसमें भी महापुरुषों का संपर्क और भी दुर्लभ है।

दुर्लभो मानुषों देहो देहिनां क्षणभंगुरः।
तत्रापि दुर्लभम् मन्येत वैकुंठः प्रियदर्शनम्।।

वैकुंठपति के जो प्रिय है उन महापुरुष का दर्शन संपर्क अतः ऐसे दुर्लभ जीवन का, दीवाली की रात ईश्वर प्राप्ति के उद्देश्य से जब जागरण सत्संग की पुस्तक पठन उसमें विश्रांति व ॐ कार के जप में विश्रांति। हास्य,दीर्ध,प्लूत दिवाली की रात सभी साधक फायदा ले।

सोते समय ईश्वर गुरु के अनुभव में स्मरण में प्रीति करते-करते, आनंदपूर्वक विश्रांति पाते पाते नींद आ जाए वह योग निद्रा का काम करेगी और नूतन वर्ष शांत अंतरात्मा रस से संपन्न चित्त हरि शरणम्। यह और वह के रूप में मैं व मेरे के रूप में सब एक सच्चिदानंद की अभिव्यक्ति है।

ॐ आनंद.. ॐ माधुर्य.. सोहम् .. शिवोहम्..। उस उच्च ज्ञान उच्च भाव में जो अपने से अलग दूर व दुर्लभ ईश्वर को मानता है,शास्त्र कहते हैं अंधेन कूपेन प्रविष्यन्ति -> वह अंधे कूप में प्रवेश करता है।
अतः अंतरात्म देव को ही जहां से शरीर मन बुद्धि चित्त सुख-दुख जानने की सत्ता स्फूर्ति व चेतना आती है वही चैतन्य आत्म स्वरुप ईश्वर तुम्हारा अपना आपा है। दूर नहीं दुर्लभ नहीं परे नहीं पराया नहीं।
नूतन वर्ष के दिन जब मौका मिले पूछते रहना अपने निर्मल नर-नारी में छुपे नारायण को । जो कभी तुम्हारा साथ नहीं छोड़ता वह अंतर्यामी ईश्वर अभी भी तुम्हारे साथ है,महल में रहो चाहे जेल में..।

पूर्ण गुरु...हो गए साईं...।

बापू के बच्चे नहीं रहना कच्चे।
मंगल दिवाली..मंगल प्रभात.. नूतन वर्ष।

यह संदेश मेरे साधक तक अवश्य पहुंचें।

मिठाई खायें, खिलायें, खुश रहें और खुशियाँ बाँटें | और दिये जलायें अर्थात ज्ञान का दिया जलायें |

यह भी बीत जायेगा, वह भी बीत जायेगा |

गम की अँधेरी रात में दिल को न बेक़रार कर, सुबह जल्दी आयेगी सुबह का इंतजार कर |

शुभ दीपावली मंगलमय दीपावली आनंदमय दीपावली ।।

सफाई करना, नयी चीज़ लाना, दीप जलाना, मिठाई खाना-खिलाना, चार मुख्य काम होते हैं दीपावली के ।

दुःख, चिंता, भय और नकारात्मक विचारों को ह्रदय से निकालना, ये आतंरिक दिवाली है । नयी चीज़ लाना : मै सत् हूँ, चेतन हूँ, साक्षी हूँ, ये दिव्य चीज़ लाना चित्त में और हमेशा अपने ज्ञान स्वाभाव में, साक्षी स्वाभाव में ।

ॐ ॐ आनंद । हम है अपने आप, हर परिस्थिति के बाप । ऐसा ज्ञान का दिया भीतर प्रगट करना और प्रसन्न रहना, मधुमय स्वाभाव और मधुमय विचार फैलाना । पहली है बाह्य दिवाली, दूसरी है आतंरिक दिवाली । आतंरिक दिवाली ठीक से जान लो, मना लो, तो हर रोज दिवाली, हर हाल दिवाली, हर दम दिवाली |

जो साधक मस्त गुरु का हुआ, सोऽहं स्वाभाव का हुआ, गुरु और ईश्वर के अनुभव से एक हुआ, उसको क्या दिलगीरी बाबा !

सभी साधकों को खूब-खूब स्नेह, सद्भाव और कितनी शाबाशी दूँ, कितना धन्यवाद दूँ !

“बापू के बच्चे ...............”, समझ गए ? तुम्हारी श्रद्धा और धैर्य को मैं फिर-फिर से ह्रदय से लगा रहा हूँ । मेरे प्यारे बच्चे-बच्चियाँ ! कितने प्रलोभन और कितना क्या, क्या ? फिर भी अडिग रहे हो । कितनी शाबाशी, कितना धन्यवाद, कितना प्यार दूँ मेरे प्यारों को बताओ ?

दीपावलीः लक्ष्मीप्राप्ति की साधना

दीपावली के दिन घर के मुख्य दरवाजे के दायीं और बायीं ओर गेहूँ की छोटी-छोटी ढेरी लगाकर उस पर दो दीपक जला दें। हो सके तो वे रात भर जलते रहें, इससे आपके घर में सुख-सम्पत्ति की वृद्धि होगी।

मिट्टी के कोरे दीयों में कभी भी तेल-घी नहीं डालना चाहिए। दीये 6 घंटे पानी में भिगोकर रखें, फिर इस्तेमाल करें। नासमझ लोग कोरे दीयों में घी डालकर बिगाड़ करते हैं।

लक्ष्मीप्राप्ति की साधना का एक अत्यंत सरल और केवल तीन दिन का प्रयोगः दीपावली के दिन से तीन दिन तक अर्थात् भाईदूज तक स्वच्छ कमरे में अगरबत्ती या धूप (केमिकल वाली नहीं-गोबर से बनी) करके दीपक जलाकर, शरीर पर पीले वस्त्र धारण करके, ललाट पर केसर का तिलक कर, स्फटिक मोतियों से बनी माला द्वारा नित्य प्रातः काल निम्न मंत्र की मालायें जपें।

ॐ नमो भाग्यलक्ष्म्यै च विद् महै।
अष्टलक्ष्म्यै च धीमहि। तन्नो लक्ष्मीः प्रचोदयात्।।

अशोक के वृक्ष और नीम के पत्ते में रोगप्रतिकारक शक्ति होती है। प्रवेशद्वार के ऊपर नीम, आम, अशोक आदि के पत्ते को तोरण (बंदनवार) बाँधना मंगलकारी है।

Deepawali: Austerities for gaining wealth

On the eve of Deepawali , made small molds of wheat grains on the left and right side of your main front door and light two lamps above it. If possible, keep them lit for the whole night. This will enhance wealth and prosperity in your home.

One must never fill dry earthen lamps with oil or ghee. Those lamps must be soaked in water for 6 hours and then put to use. Foolish people add ghee in dry earthen lamps and cause wastage.

A means of gaining wealth in life is very simple and a three day course: From the day of Deepawali till Bhaidooj (13th Nov to 15th Nov 2012), recite the following mantra every morning in a clean room lit with incense sticks or dhoop (don't use chemical sticks- use ones made from cow dung), light a lamp, wear yellow clothes, make a saffron mark on forehead and using rosary made of rock crystals.

Leaves from Ashok and Margosa have remedial properties against many ailments. Hence, hanging bunches of Margosa, Mango or Ashok leaves at front door is considered beneficial.

काली चौदसः नारकीय यातनाओं से रक्षा

नरक चतुर्दशी (काली चौदस) के दिन सूर्योदय से पूर्व उठकर तेल-मालिश (तैलाभ्यंग) करके स्नान करने का विधान है। 'सनत्कुमार संहिता' एवं 'धर्मसिंधु' ग्रंथ के अनुसार इससे नारकीय यातनाओं से रक्षा होती है।

काली चौदस और दीपावली की रात जप-तप के लिए बहुत उत्तम मुहूर्त माना गया है। नरक चतुर्दशी की रात्रि में मंत्रजप करने से मंत्र सिद्ध होता है।

इस रात्रि में सरसों के तेल अथवा घी के दीये से काजल बनाना चाहिए। इस काजल को आँखों में आँजने से किसी की बुरी नजर नहीं लगती तथा आँखों का तेज बढ़ता है।

Kali Chaudas : Sanctuary from suffering of hell

On Narak Chaturdashi (Kali Chaudas), it is customary to wake up before sunrise and rubbing oil before taking a bath. "Santkumar Sanhita" and "DharmaSindhu" scriptures have mentioned that this protects us from sufferings of hell.

The night of Kali Chaudas and Deepawali is considered supreme for austerities and reciting mantras. Doing japa on the night of Kali Chaudas leads to full realisation of mantra.

On this night, one must also made soot for applying on eyes using mustard oil or ghee. Applying this shields one from ill fortune and also improves eye sight.

दिवाली के दिन

दिवाली (3th Nov' 2013) के दिनों में अपने घर के बाहर सरसों के तेल का दिया जला देना, इससे गृहलक्ष्मी बढ़ती हैं ।

दिवाली के दिनों में अपने घर के बाहर सरसों के तेल का दिया जला देना, इससे गृहलक्ष्मी बढ़ती हैं ।
दिवाली की रात प्रसन्नतापूर्वक सोना चाहिये ।
थोड़ी खीर कटोरी में डाल के और नारियल लेकर के घूमना और मन में "लक्ष्मी- नारायण" जप करना और खीर ऐसी जगह रखना जहाँ किसी का पैर ना पड़े और गायें, कौए आदि खा जाएँ और नारियल अपने घर के मुख्य द्वार पर फोड़ देना और इसकी प्रसादी बाँटना । इससे घर में आनंद और सुख -शांति रहेगी ।
दिवाली के दिन अपने घर के मुख्य द्वार पर नीम व अशोक (आसोपाल ) के पत्तों का तोरण लगा देना , इस पर से पसार होने वाले की रोग प्रतिकारक शक्ति बढेगी ।
दिवाली की रात अगर घर के लोग गाय के गोबर के जलते हुए कंडे पर ५-५ आहुतियाँ डालते हैं, तो उस घर में सम्पदा व संवादिता की सम्भावना बढ़ जाती है । घी, गुड़, चन्दन चूरा, देसी कपूर, गूगल, चावल, जौ और तिल । ५-५ आहुति इन मंत्र को पड़ कर डालें - स्थान देवताभ्यो नमः, ग्राम देवताभ्यो नमः, कुल देवताभ्यो नमः । फिर २-५ आहुतियाँ लक्ष्मीजी के लिए ये मंत्र बोलकर डालें -श्रीं ह्रीं क्लीं ऐं कमलवासिन्यै स्वाहा ।
काली चौदस को सरसों के तेल/ घी का दिया जलाकर काजल बनाकर लगाने से नजर नहीं लगती, नेत्र ज्योति बढ़ती है और भूत-बाधा भाग जाती है । दिवाली के दिनों में चौमुखी दिया जलाकर चौराहे पर रख दिया जाए, चारों तरफ, वो शुभ माना जाता है ।
यद्यपि कार्तिक मास में तेल नहीं लगाना चाहिए, फिर भी नरक चतुर्दशी के दिन सूर्योदय से पूर्व उठकर तेल-मालिश (तैलाभ्यंग) करके स्नान करने का विधान है। 'सन्नतकुमार संहिता' एवं धर्मसिन्धु ग्रन्थ के अनुसार इससे नारकीय यातनाओं से रक्षा होती है। जो इस दिन सूर्योदय के बाद स्नान करता है उसके शुभकर्मों का नाश हो जाता है।

On the day of Diwali

On the day of Diwali light lamps using mustard oil, this enhances family wealth.

One must sleep joyfully on the night of Diwali.

Take a little rice pudding and a coconut and offer japa, prayers and oblations to Lakshmi - Narayan. Rice pudding must be kept in a place where no ones feet can touch, crows can feed on it and break the coconut at the main doorstep of your home. Distribute this offering to others. This will amplify joy, happiness and peace in your home.

Leaves from Ashok and Margosa have remedial properties against many ailments. Hence, bunches of Margosa, Mango or Ashok leaves should be hung at the front door. This improves immunity against diseases.

On the night of Diwali, if members of the family offer oblations of 5-5 pieces of cow dung cakes, then great fortune and peace can benefit that family. Ghee, jaggery, Chandan powder, pure camphor, dry sap, rice, jau and sesame seeds. Offer 5-5 oblations while reading this mantra.

Then offer 2-4 oblations to Lakshmiji using mantra - SHREEM HREEM KLEEM AIM KAMALVASINYEE SWAHA |
- On Kali Chaudas (2th Nov 2013), one must make soot for applying on eyes using mustard oil or ghee. Applying this shields one from ill fortune and also improves eye sight. Lighting a four faced lamp on the eve of Diwali at a road junction is considered very auspicious.
- In Karthik month, one must not apply oil. Even then, on Narak Chaturdashi (2th Nov 2013), one must get up before sunrise and apply oil over their body and then take a bath."Santkumar Sanhita" and "DharmaSindhu" scriptures have mentioned that this protects us from sufferings of hell. One who takes a bath after sunrise, his holy virtues gets destroyed.

श्री सुरेशानंदजी ने कहा है की दीपावली के दिन श्री राम अयोध्या आए थे, तो हमारे जीवन में भी श्री राम (ज्ञान), सीताजी (भक्ति) और लक्ष्मणजी (वैराग्य) आए |
दीपावली के दिन रात भर घी का दिया जले सूर्योदय तक, तो बड़ा शुभ माना जाता है |
दीपावली के दिन चांदी की कटोरी में अगर कपूर को जलायें, तो परिवार में तीनों तापों से रक्षा होती |
हर अमावस्या को (और दिवाली को भी) पीपल के पेड़ के नीचे दिया जलाने से पितृ और देवता प्रसन्न होते हैं, और अच्छी आत्माएं घर में जनम लेती हैं.
नूतन वर्ष के दिन (दीपावली के अगले दिन ), गाय के खुर की मिट्टी से, अथवा तुलसीजी की मिट्टी से तिलक करें, सुख-शान्ति में बरकत होगी |
दीपावली की शाम को अशोक वृक्ष के नीचे घी का दिया जलायें, तो बहुत शुभ माना जाता है |

Things to do on eve of Diwali

Shri Sureshanandji has mentioned that Lord Rama had returned to Ayodhya on this eve. Similarly, we should also invite Lord Rama (Knowledge), Mother Sita (Devotion) and Lord Lakshmana (Dettachment) in our lives.
It is considered very auspicious if a lamp is lit for the whole night of Diwali till sunrise of next morning.
Lighting a camphor lamp in a silver bowl on the day of Diwali helps avert all three forms of ill fate that could have befallen on your family.
Lighting a lamp under Peepal tree on every Amavasya (including Diwali) pleases all Gods and forefathers, and leads to birth of holy souls in family.
On the new year's day (next day after Diwali), applying tilak on forehead using soil from cow's hoof or soil under Basil plant enhances peace and prosperity in your life.
Lighting a lamp under Ashoka tree on the night of Diwali is considered very holy and auspicious.

Do's & Don'ts on Diwali

Do's

Put potato Slices on the burnt area for immediate relief.
Wash the burnt area immediately with fresh water and cool with ice packs or cool water.
Cover the area with clean sheet or towel.

Don’ts

Don’t remove pieces of burnt flesh or dead tissue.
Don’t prick blisters.
Don’t apply ghee, haldi, atta or toothpaste.

Meritorious Darshan

A virtuous Brahmin, a place of Pilgrimage, Vaishnavite, Idol of a Deity, Sun-god, Sati, Sanyasi, Ascetic, Brahmachari, Cow, Fire, Guru, Elephant, Lion, White Horse, Parrot, Cuckoo, Khanjrit (khanjan), Swan, Peacock, Magpie, Shankhapakshi, Cow along with its Calf, the Pipal tree, Married Woman with a Son, Pilgrim, Lamp, Gold, Gem, Pearl, Diamond, Ruby, Tulsi, White flower, Fruits, White Grains, Ghee, Curd, Honey, Pot filled with Water, Parched Rice, Mirror, Water, Garland of White flowers, Gorochana, Camphor, Silver, Lake, Flower-garden, Moon in the bright fortnight, Sandalwood, Musk, Kumkum, Flag, Akshayvata (the two famous Banyan Trees of Gaya and prayag), Devavriksha (a pine tree), Temple, a Holy River or Pond, Devotee, Devavat (a holy tree charged with divinity), Conch, Kettle Drum, Oyster, Coral, Crystal, Roots of Kusha grass, Soil of the Ganges, Copper, Scriptures, a genuine Vishnuyantra, along with the Beej-mantra, Jewel, One who does Tapasya, the Sea, Black Deer, Yajna, any Great Festival, Dust of the Cow?s Feet, Cow?s Urine, a Cow Shed, Cow?s Hoof, a Crop-field ready for harvest, a beautiful Lily Flower, a Beautiful Attire, a Virtuous Woman adorned with Divine Ornaments and Clothes, Kshemkari, Gandh, durva, rice, whole rice (Akshat), Cooked grains, Pious grains; the darshan of all these provides great virtues.

Sinful Darshan

The Killer of a Cow or Brahmin, an Ungrateful Person, Cheater, Iconoclast, One who kills his parents, Sinner, Traitor, One who bears false witness, one who cheats one?s Guests, a Village Priest, one who steals the Wealth meant for the Gods and Brahmins, one who cuts the Pipal tree, the Wicked, Slanderer of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, one Who has not been initiated, an Ill-behaved Person, a Brahmin who doesn?t observe Sandhya, a Brahmin who lives on the Offerings made to the Gods and Ploughs using Oxen; the darshan of all these result in the accumulation of sins. A widow without a Son, a Characterless Woman, a Woman who slanders the Gods and Brahmins, an Infidel Woman, a Woman devoid of devotion to Lord Vishnu, an Adulteress; the Darshan of these is also a sin. One also earns sins on having the darshan of the following: One who is always angry, an Illegitimate Child, Thief, Liar, One who tortures a Refugee, Steals Meat, a Brahmin who has an Illicit Relationship with a low caste woman, a Low Caste Man who has sexual relationship with a Brahmin Woman, a Brahmin who invests Money to earn interest and a mean wretched Person who has sex with a Woman unable to conceive.
