In the spiritual world there is humungous supply of everything…. Copious amount of food, resources etc.. Similarly in the spiritual realm there is divine peace and happiness all around… There are people (saints) who can bring about mass transformation and growth.. (in spiritual terms)

Are we reaping benefit out of it? Or are we enmeshing ourselves in this physical world?

When we get so involved in this physical world then transformation becomes difficult.

When we grow old or when we are about to take our final exit, then we think- Now is the time to become a devotee, now is the time to get involved in spiritual world. But unfortunately the precious time has slipped out of our hands.. we become so involved in the material world, that detachment becomes a difficult process..When I crossed the threshold into older age, I realized that God is my only companion, I tried spirituality, but my senile body pulled me back…

So, now is the time, Your beloved  is waiting for you… 

Malice, hatred, lust , greed increnate all your merits and Meditation, chanting , good deeds  increase your merits….

It is believed that the one who wears dirty clothes, keeps a dirty mouth and hands , Godess Laxmi leaves him…

Do you know that each one of you has a Philosopher’s stone… That is this human form, divine intellect and knowledge of scriptures and holy books. They can bring about prosperity in actual sense (Spiritual growth)

And can liberate you from the cycle of life and death…

If you have saintly desires (you want to help people, do good… ),then nature itself will lend you a helping hand..Your good desires will surely get fulfilled….

There is a beautiful story –

Once there was a man who found a Philosopher’s stone… He was so happy to have that… He was a man of saintly and angelic virtues…

He helped poor’s and destitute and gave food to pilgrims… He received a lot of blessing from people…

One day he was strolling in a forest, there he saw a man sitting under a tree. His beauty captured his attention. He was enraptured by the spark of his face.. It was divine spark…

Peace was dribbling from his eyes..

He went to him and said-

” Can I serve you in some way? It looks that you have no place to live in ..Shall I get you a house constructed??

The saint said- No.

He said,” Can I get you some food??

The saint said,”- No

( There was an old woman passing by , she looks very thin and debilitated)

I do not need food. This woman looks week and ravenous, give her some food to eat…

The man said- Sure.. ( He went to that woman ) and offered her help..

The Old woman said, “You want to give me food.. ok! But remember.. I am an extremely hungry woman , the more you will feed me, the more hungry I will grow.. You cannot satisfy me..  and if you fail to satisfy my hunger, then Beware! I ll kill you.

The main laughed and said- Oh, Don’t worry.. I have a lot to feed you, just come with me…

His servants went on serving that woman, but with each morsel she was becoming esurient…. They got frustrated… But she ate and ate and ate…

Now she said to that man,” You devil, You failed to satisfy my hunger, now I ll kill you….

He got agitated. Her words unnerved him…

He went to that saint and said,” Please help me , She will kill me ..

The saint said, “Come , Sit here, close your eyes…

(That old woman was actually saint’s creation ) He wanted to teach him a lesson and that was-

That old woman  metaphorizes  our wretched and lowly desires. The more we feed them, the more they grow.. It is impossible to satisfy all your desires… Do not try to give affection to your hungering senses, hurl your desires to the ground otherwise they ll slew you…

The man was so happy to learn this… He gave no attention to his wretched desires…

He went on serving people…One day he could sense an urge brewing inside him… He wanted to see that Saint again.. ( He wanted his darshan ) .. He set out to have his darshna… The journey was not easy.. He searched for him desperately.. He got lost in wild forests.. One night it was so cold that he got tired and fell asleep. When he woke up in the morning, he saw that his body was covered with a dear cloth.. He knew that only his compassionate Guru can do this. (A guru has a very soft heart..)

And he begun his journey again . He saw a hut encircled by beautiful flowers .Two lions were sitting around the hut.

He entered the hut and saw his Guru sitting there… ..( It took him 7 days to reach there)… He was beside himself with joy.. He blessed out…

He went to him and said,” Guru ji, Can i stay with you?? I want to experience divinity ..

The saint said, ” Sure, my child.

The saint observed that this man is not interested in worldly things and affairs. But something is blocking his way to divinity and that is the philosopher stone.. He was still attached to that stone.

The saint once took him to Ganges and said,” Tell me everything about your past..

While narrating his story , he made a mention of that philosopher’s stone..

The saint said,” Where is that stone now?? Is it with you?

The man said laughingly,” Yes I have concealed it in my locks”. You see..

The saint took that stone and threw it in the river..

The man got infuriated… He muttered,” Does he even know the value of this precious stone” ??

The saint said- ” Can you jump into the river, and bring some stones?

The man said,” Yes..

He plunged into the river and brought some stones..

The saint had divine powers.. He changed all those ordinary stones into phillospher stones…

This knocked him sideways..

It left him totally flabbergasted…

He said only one thing,”- The man who has the power to change something ordinary to something that is highly treasured..

What kind of soul he will be ?? What treasure( divinity) he will have??

Hia attachment for that philosopher smashed to smithereens and he got deeply involved in divinity..

Moral- Until unless complete detachment takes place , one cannot  involve oneself in divinity…

Divinity strengthens your soul , which gives you internal peace and satisfaction and it enriches you with divine virtues…

Another small story-

Once there was a priest , he had a cat.. He said-” Balance this candle on your head. He gave her the training to perform this difficult task..She successfully performed the task. But one day she saw a rat, and all his balance and training went in vain..

Similarly, when we attend spiritual discourses, we feel motivated and we make a resolve, from now onwards ” I will not do this ” , I will not involve myself in such things.. but once you see that rat , i.e .. temptations , you fall victim.. you lose your balance and get carried away by such temptations… Therefore; chant his name, you ll get enormous strength to fight off temptations …

Do you think that, a good partner, good children , favorable conditions and situations , material things , fulfillment of greed and desires will turn to your advantage? You are highly mistaken..

Only his name and your good deeds will pave the way to liberation..

How will you know, that your devotion has come to fruition??

The answer is simple, you’ll start experiencing inner peace, happiness and satisfaction…
